All of our firewood is a variety of hardwoods, we try to reduce the moisture content to as little percentage as possible. Our firewood is currently stored outside so we would advise purchasing a few months prior to burning the wood in order to shelter and dry out a little more. We supply hardwood so you can expect a longer lasting fire.

Drying Wet Firewood
In order to dry out the firewood effectively we would advise that it is stored in an area open to the wind and sun. Also needs to be under cover so cannot be affected by the rain. The firewood should also be stacked away from a damp surface so it cannot absorb any more moisture. We would also advise buying during the summer window as it will be dryer and won’t need as much drying time.
